Description

The Michigan Pen Club is pleased to announce that our 2019 pen show will be organized and promoted by Dale Penkala and Isaac Hannosh of Opus Mechan, Inc. (PenHub). This transition was approved in order to substantially enlarge our Detroit-area pen show in size and with the addition of another day, making it a 3-day weekend event open to the public starting on Friday, October 18th.​​

The second annual event changed venue to the Hilton Garden Inn, Detroit-Southfield, and changed to a November date, rather than October.

In the summer of 2020, the Detroit Pen Show announced the cancellation of the physical show and an all-virtual format in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. The showrunners offered free registration for a series of online events over the show weekend, including vendor spotlights, a penmaker panel discussion, and a virtual pen show after dark.

Admissions

General Admission on Friday (Oct 18) - 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($7). Weekend passes are $25. General Admission on Saturday (Oct 19) - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($7) General Admission on Sunday (Oct 20) - 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. ($7)
