Papier Plume opened in 2007 in the heart of the the French Quarter in New Orleans Louisiana. Currently located at 842 Royal Street on the corner of Royal and Dumaine. The store is known for several things including their house made fountain and calligraphy inks, including a special collection of fountain pen inks known as the New Orleans Collection. They also carry a specially formulated, French made, Super Pliable Sealing Wax that is suitable for sending through the mail. Additionally they carry some hard to find pen makers in their store, including Cleo Skribent, Faggionato, and Jean-Pierre Lepine.
