Bic is a mechanical pencil produced by a company that is known for its disposable products. Made in France, this mechanical pencil is one of the cheapest available on the market. It is entirely made of plastic, and the only nonplastic part of it is the eraser. The eraser doesn't have a cap to keep it clean.
The mechanical pencil comes in a variety of colors of, body and clip. The Bic Matic is designed for general writing but the tip is built so you can use a ruler.
It is available in size 0.5 mm, 0.7 mm, 0.9 mm. The most common size is 0.7 mm. Mostly because it is addressed to young students.
