'''Myke Hurley:''' So considering I'm kind of building up an office like from scratch, then it might work for me.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' That's actually one of the things that I'm working on doing is moving some of this stuff to my office. Yeah. Like all my field notes are just in a bin. Like I've got the, I have like the retail, like the little fold, you know, the cardboard display for retail. Like I want to put a bunch in there and put it in my office and just, you know, have like a little setup like that. You know, I have a bunch of pins and cases in the closet that I would like to have displayed or organized better. You know, there's, there's things like that, that I can move out of the closet that I would rather have like in my office. But I just, I just haven't figured all that out yet. You know, I don't have any shelves in my office, you know, to put things on. So, you know, do I need to add some shelving? That kind of stuff. I think about it all the time because like my storage right now is a super, super mess. Like I have stuff on top of my desk, under my desk that hasn't even made it into the closet because it can't fit.

'''Myke Hurley:''' And it's. I have stuff in like a box under my bed and I don't want it there anymore. Like I want it, you know, I want to be able to move things around and put them in places. And because one of the things I'm going to be doing for my office is I'm going to be buying a bunch of storage solutions. And that's just going to be a thing where I can just put a bunch of stuff. Right. With pens being something that's going to occupy, you know, a selection of that. So this, I was just wondering like what you do and it sounds like you have as many problems as I am.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' I totally do. Like every, every time I think I might have a solution, you know, it ends up being a fail in like a month when new stuff happens. Yeah.

'''Myke Hurley:''' If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. So like I'm thinking of going to kind of the IKEA route of a bunch of my stuff. Right. And I'm going to be buying some shelves and they do these like kind of stackable units that are basically squares, like empty squares. And you can Kallax, that's it. Crazy Bubbles in the chat room has just mentioned it. The IKEA Kallax range is what I'm probably going to end up going with because they're pretty expandable. And they have a bunch of different sizes and you can just put things straight on them like shelves or you can also buy like boxes that can go in them.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Right. So like you can either just have it showing or you can buy a box that fits in this square shelving unit. So I'm thinking about going this route and like it will be a great way for me to have some storage, which could end up maybe being a bit expandable over time. So this is probably the route that I'm going to end up going with.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. That sounds really good. Actually, something I need to look at.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. So that's, yeah. Obviously, young people these days, new home. We're obviously going to IKEA. Do you have an IKEA near you?

'''Brad Dowdy:''' In Atlanta. So, yeah, I could totally get to it. But I've never been. But that would be something to be useful for me. The one thing I hate about figuring all this stuff out are the pen boxes. They're the worst. They're my enemy.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Oh, I very rarely keep a pen box.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' I know. I used to not. And then, you know, if I wanted to sell something or ship something to someone, well, I kind of feel like, well, I should ship the box. But I really, I went through a batch and threw out just tons and tons of boxes. And now I've been keeping them again. But now, like, all my space for boxes is full. And it's just dumb. I hate boxes. I hate packaging.

'''Myke Hurley:''' I only have, like, a couple of them that are, like, super special or nice. But I tend to just get rid of them. Like, initially, I was keeping them all. And, like, keeping boxes of old products and stuff, like computer products and stuff that I bought. And recently, I was like, what am I doing with all of these? Because, like, I recently found I have the empty box of every single iPhone ever made. And I want to get rid of, I'm going to be getting rid of those. Like, it was funny. We were going through stuff. They didn't want me to go through stuff. And I started, like, making a pile of things to throw out. And she's like, oh, you shouldn't throw those. I'm like, why? It was weird. Like, it got turned on its head where she was telling me to get rid of empty boxes. And then was making me keep them.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Mm-hmm.

'''Myke Hurley:''' But, yeah. So, I, a while ago, was just like, this is crazy. Like, I'm just keeping empty pieces of cardboard. Yep. So, yeah. I'm going to be getting away from that. Crazy Bubbles in the chat room also recommends Muji stuff. I'll put some links in the show notes to the Muji stuff. You have a Muji in London? Yeah, we do. We have actually a couple. Oh, nice. Yeah, yeah. But I could, I can buy on, you can buy online. Yeah.

'''Myke Hurley:''' So, yeah. I might, I might do that. Their stuff's good. And I know people really like it. But I'm more of an Ikea person than a Muji person. Just from, like, an aesthetic. Sure. Because, like, a lot of Muji stuff, like, even this joint, it's like thin, clear plastic. It's their kind of thing. And I don't really like that. I like kind of the covered wood that Ikea stuff tends to be. That's my kind of, it's a bit more rugged. Not that I'm rugged, specifically. But it's just a little bit more to my aesthetic liking.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Well, now's your chance, right? Setting up a new place. This is it, right?

'''Myke Hurley:''' I'm in the perfect position right now to establish something going forward.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' But, right. So, no pressure. But you got to nail it. And leave room for growth.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. That's it, right? So, one of the things that I like about this Ikea system is it's expandable. Yeah. So, I could buy another unit and put it on top. Right. Right. Right.
