== Thanks for the welcome/sourcing question == Hello, and thanks for the account approval! I'm somewhat new to the pen world, but am loving the community and the idea of this wiki! I've recently been trying to aggregate as much online info as I can on various stationery items and have a bit of a catalog accumulating on the physical characteristics/dimensions for various models. As I don't own nearly all of the items I've aggregated, I'm wondering if online retailers are an acceptable source of information related to these metrics (e.g. model #s, body material, weight, length, diameter, etc.)? I should note I have no affiliation with any of the retailers I've pulled data from, however I can understand if these are not considered an appropriate source for the purposes of this database. Thanks again, and looking forward to contributing however I can :) --ParkerBrothers (talk) 19:53, 10 October 2022 (CEST) Hi, thanks for joining us. I completely undertsand your thinking and have similar thoughts. IMO online retailers are an acceptable source of information. If users were to measure themselves we also don't know if they did it right, so I see no issues with that. Welcome! --Memm (talk) 11:40, 11 October 2022 (CEST) Hello again Memm! Hope you are well and I wanted to share some info you might find useful. I've spent the past year or so collecting and organizing data into an interactive product hierarchy as a fun data project. It's not perfect and there are surely some errors woven throughout, but I have found around 11.5K unique items that I think could enhance this wiki. I'd like to seed pages for others to contribute additional info, but realize a bulk addition of this size would probably need to be organized by you. I'm happy to share this gsheet link with the hierarchy outline and org structure, and feel free to reach out if you'd like additional context! --ParkerBrothers (talk) 17:56, 4 August 2023 (CEST)
