'''Brad Dowdy:''' So for this category, I went right in the middle of both of y'all and I picked the TWSBI 580, but the AL one, the aluminum one with the aluminum bits and the blue one that's just come out. People are, I didn't realize it at first that these, these colored AL, uh, were going to be, I guess, limited run. I mean, they're not, you know, limited edition. They're not calling them that, but once they make them, they're not remaking them. So like people have been hunting down the orange one, which was the first one that came out. Um, and it's just hardly available anymore than the purple one came out, which you can probably still find. And then the blue one's coming out like right now, you're going to start seeing them popping up here pretty soon. Some stores may have them in, some stores may not, but I just love the look of the 580. Um, I think it makes a great, um, great gift, uh, presentation wise and functionality wise. It looks awesome. And then I'd load it up with the Bungbok Sapphire, really, really bright blue ink and match it up with the, the Rodea A5 dot pad. '''Myke Hurley:''' So for me, retro 51, flat out, always, it's got to be, for me, like, it just works so perfectly. They look great. There's so many different styles. They fit so many different people. Like, for example, I don't like the look of the tornado twinkle, but there are a million other types of retro 51s that you can get your hands on. So I'm always down with that. And I think, so I was thinking about this because I always say field notes here for the standard paper thing. Mm-hmm. But I think this time I'm going to say Baron Fig Confidant. Mm-hmm. Because I think that for people in your life that maybe are using Moleskens and stuff like that, you could get them onto a confidant really easily. Because they look nice. You know, they're kind of similar in format. And I think it would be a good step to move them even further down into different paths going to the future, I think. So I just gave Adina my work play confidant, and she's very happy with it. So that's a scene, like, for me, like, that is a good kind of step in stone to take people on to kind of the next point.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. No, I think you're right. You know, that is something you kind of plant the seed, if you will, that there's some other things out there like that. So that's good. So on this one, I went super budget conscious on this one. This is, like, a good, like, blind gift to give someone or what do they call it, a white elephant gift or anyone who you think might be into stationary. And you could just, you know, spend, like, $10 or $15 and, you know, pop it on their desk at work and see what they like. I went with the Uniball Sino DX 0.38, any color. I put down black, but, you know, I like the blue-black. And all their other colors are really, really bright and sharp. And I put down any field notes. I just think it's kind of, like, the perfect setup just to get someone kind of riding, you know, into the stationary things. You know, a three-pack of field notes and a single gel ink pen, you know, won't cost you that much. But it kind of makes a little neat little presentation, I think. And using something like the DX will give them a feel for what, like, a decent pen is that, you know, they're not getting from the office supply cabinet or something like that. So, you know, I think you can really kind of put the sneak attack on some people if you're getting them a little pen and a notebook like this for a gift. And you could even buy a three-pack of field notes and three pens and break them up, give them to three different people, see what they think. It'd be super cheap. It'd be a good way to go.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Okay, let's move to the pencil and paper combo. This is going to be an interesting one. What do you got, Anna?

'''Ana Reinert:''' I kept with my trend of continuing to spread the love of the Koh-I-Noor Magic Pencil.

'''Myke Hurley:''' So what is that thing? Because I'm taking a look at this and it looks like crazy pants.

'''Ana Reinert:''' It is crazy pants. It is my favorite. And I'm literally, I'm going to have to start buying them in cartons, not cases, like not 12, like not in a dozen, but like in 144. Because I keep giving them away. They, each pencil, the lead actually has yellow, blue, and red mixed into the lead. So it's like a colored pencil, but it's all three colors. And so as you write and turn the pencil, it changes color.

'''Ana Reinert:''' So it's hugely entertaining. It's so much fun. It's great to doodle with and play with. And everybody who has used one gets all tickled and just has fun. And it's, it's like, it's one of those pencils that I end up taking with me to a meeting with a pen. And so then I can kind of use it as like a highlighter almost, like to sort of underline things or to add a little doodle or a note with it. And they're just, they're super unique. They're super fun. And I've kind of have, I have one on my desk all the time now. And everybody who uses it or I give one to gets very tickled. It just sort of brings out the kid in everybody. Yeah. So I think it's one of those things that like, again, it's, they're like about $2 a piece. I did discover that CW Pencils now sells them individually. So it's like, next time you order from, from CW, just throw one in your cart, get a note just to try it out.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' I'm all about this. I'm definitely going to get some of these. I don't have any of these yet, but I definitely love the way these, these look. I remember having some of these, it seemed like when I was a kid, but certainly probably not as cool as this.

'''Ana Reinert:''' But I found out about it because I saw an article in the New York Times about an artist. And now I'm totally blanking on the name. And if somebody's super clever and Googles my site really quickly, I'll remember. It was like Milton Glaser or somebody like that. Says he always carries one and he uses it for his sketches because it makes his sketches look more artistic. Nice. And it kind of like worked its way back and eventually Koh-I-Noor actually picked up the article. Oh, wow. Picked up my article and then found out that Milton Glaser had mentioned it. Like they found out about the New York Times article like backwards for me and everything. But anyway, so. That's awesome. I just think they're super cool and they're really fun. And the gold, the gold ones are the ones that he uses.
