'''Brad Dowdy:''' I mean, so how is that shelf looking these days? And are you making any headway? Or has that like doubled now since you've kind of been drugging this into this community, whether you like it or not?

'''June Thomas:''' The answer to that question, Brad, is yes and yes. It grows all the time. Because, like, why would I stop? I love accumulating notebooks. And fortunately, they're inexpensive enough. You know, if I was addicted to pens, that might be slightly different. I merely like pens. But notebooks are the things, like, that's my happy place. Buying a notebook, that sort of peps me up if I'm feeling down. And so, yeah, I keep buying them. I keep finding new ones. But I also use them. I use a lot. I write all the time. And so I don't have any, you know, like, sometimes you collect something or you accumulate something. And you feel a bit guilty about it. But I have zero guilt about my stationary addiction. Because, like, what's the harm?

'''June Thomas:''' Even though often I'll just have them sit there. Some of them have been sitting there for years. They've moved across country for me. Some may even have moved across oceans. But I really do use them all the time. And I'm a great believer in that you'll find the book for whatever it is that you need to do. And you don't know when you'll come across that. So things that I've put aside for ages, suddenly, you know, the moment arrives. And I pull them out of the pile. And so it sits there and it gets added to. But I also use them.
