'''Brad Dowdy:''' Well, before, before we dig in, uh, what, what's new in, uh, Anna's world? What's new at the, at the well-appointed desk that everyone, everyone needs to know about?

'''Ana Reinert:''' Well, we, we did release our first paper product, um, about a week ago. Um, yes, it's not entirely safe for work, but, um, it was, uh, inspired by something I once said in front of my husband, which was that I wanted, uh, a, um, wanted to do a notepad because I had, um, stuff to do. And he said, it should say that. And I said, okay, let's make them. And so I sort of started giving him like, it needs to be this big and it needs to be able to fit into a Hobonichi or a planner or whatever. It needs to fit. Um, we need to be able to have them. So they fit in things that, uh, had a pocket on the side or pocket on the top. And he's like, okay, just tell me what you want and we'll make them. And so they're in my shop now and they've been selling pretty quickly there. Um, we made them on, I think about 70 pound paper, their letterpress printed to color available for $8, uh, pad. And, um, yeah, I have a feeling we'll probably sell out of the first run. And so we'll probably print up another run probably after Christmas.

They look forward to it every year. I look forward to it, um, a lot and, you know, talk about all the, the cool things we think make good gifts for all those stationary freaks out there. And even for people who are not stationary freaks and want to get into something, you know, maybe just, uh, getting their feet wet, if you will. So what we did this year is kind of group things into sets, if you will.

'''Ana Reinert:''' Well, I went on sort of a slightly budget route for the fountain pen ink and paper combo. I had a feeling you were going to go high end with this. Maybe I'm wrong.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' You might be. You might be. And I'll cut you off is I've kind of done a little bit of both. Like you're saying, I've done some very budget conscious ones and I've done some a little bit that aren't so much. So yeah.

'''Ana Reinert:''' Okay. Cause there, there's a one category where I kind of went top end, but this, this one, I went a little budget conscious. Um, I have been very excited about the pilot metropolitan retro pops, which are the 15 ish dollar pens come in fun, bright colors. Um, there's a red, gray, turquoise, purple, orange, and lime green. Um, and decided that what would be really fun is if you matched the pen with an ink. So if you decided that you were buying this for someone else, maybe you got the red one, you'd match it with a red ink, um, or a gray one. You'd match it with a gray ink. Um, and so forth. So I went, I went through my copious collection of ink and actually matched as best as I could every pen with every ink that I could find. And then I also discovered that the Rhodiarama notebooks also pretty much matched. Yeah. With every single.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Eight colors in those or so. Seems like.

'''Ana Reinert:''' Yeah. There's quite a few, um, which made for a nice little, you could put together a pretty nice set for. Pretty much under $50 if you wanted to sort of introduce somebody to really nice paper, really nice, you know, a great pen for a really reasonable price. And then get them an ink. So if you knew somebody's favorite color was purple or something, you could kind of totally set them up.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' I think these, these metropolitan, these new, newest Metropolitans are going to be my favorite Metropolitans. I don't have one yet, but those colors are awesome. I think they're better than like the animal print ones and things like that. I think they're really, really neat.

'''Ana Reinert:''' Yeah. I just got, um, I went ahead and did the, my mass drop had, um, a bunch of them and I got two of them. I got big surprise. I got the lime green and, uh, the turquoise.

'''Ana Reinert:''' I got the green one.

'''Ana Reinert:''' And, um, I got a fine point and a medium point. And I just, because I hadn't kind of done a side by side of them and really, really nice. And I'm just kind of stunned at how good for 15 bucks those pens are.

'''Myke Hurley:''' So they really are.

'''Ana Reinert:''' Yep.

'''Myke Hurley:''' So I'm kind of frustrated about this because Adina loves her pilot metropolitan. Like it's the pen that she keeps coming back to. And, uh, she, she dropped the one. I think she's on her, she'll be on her third now. She just dropped one and, and it, and it just the nib just misaligned. And you can never really get those things back to how they were, you know, like, especially at this point, price point. It's like, well, if you, if you've dropped it, just replace it. So we just replaced hers. Um, and I didn't even know that these retro pups existed. So that, that could have been more fun than maybe the gold one that we got. But hey, next time.
