The London Writing Equipment Show (LWES) is the longest established show in the UK and perhaps the largest writing equipment show in Europe.
The show has been owned and organised by the Writing Equipment Society since 2007. The Society has now passed on the safekeeping of the show to UK Pen Shows. Jeremy and Ian the principals of UK Pen Shows were both members of the original show team for LWES from the beginning.
For 2019 and at popular request, we have put in a Spring Show on Sunday 10th March and it has proved to be a great success.
This year the show remains in last years venue the Holiday Inn; for anyone who has not previously attended the show the venue is just two minutes’ walk from the tube at Russell Square station,ten minutes by bus from Eurostar connections at St. Pancras station and a 45 minute taxi ride from London Heathrow Airport.
For visitors arriving by car there is under-ground parking at the venue. There is no congestion charge on Saturday or Sunday.[1]
Admissions[edit]
The show opens at 10:30am and closes at 4:00pm, admission at the door is £5.00 children under 13 are free entry when accompanied by an adult.[2]
