Joey Cofone (born June 5, 1990) is an American designer and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and CEO of Baronfig, a design and stationery company based in New York.
Early life and education[edit]
Cofone was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Parsons School of Design in New York City, where he earned a degree in communication design.
Career[edit]
After graduating from Parsons, Cofone worked as a designer at several firms in New York, including Hard Candy Shell and Freelancers Union. In 2013, he co-founded Baronfig with Adam Kornfield, a fellow Parsons graduate.
Baronfig began as a Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of a notebook designed for creatives, and has since expanded to offer a range of design and stationery products. The company's products are known for their minimalist and functional design, and have been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Fast Company, and Wired.
In addition to his work at Baronfig, Cofone is also a mentor and advisor to other startups in the design and technology industries.
