The Instagram account for the Dutch Pen Show announced the 2020 date mere days after a very successful first show.

Postponement due to Covid-19

Due to the spread of the Covid-19 virus, and restrictions on group events by the Netherland government, the showrunners for the Dutch Pen Show postponed the show from starting June 7, to being held Sunday, October 18, 2020.

In July, an update was made that even the postponed October dates were now canceled due to Covid-19 concerns.. The Dutch Pen Show 2021 was announced to be held June 5, 2021.
