Description[edit]
This Kickstarter campaign was launched by the company Need Want, as a subscription service for notebooks. The subscription plan would allow for a monthly notebook that users would fill up and send to the company to be scanned and digitized.
However, after almost the whole campaign period, only about half of the funding goal had been pledged. Looking at the demand and observations from backers, the company cancelled the campaign, with news that they would relaunch with a different perspective on the product[1].
In a separate blog post by the company, they explained the process of the campaign, detailing the concept through to the cancellation[2].
After taking time to to pivot on the idea of the Draft notebook, Need Want launched a new campaign: The Mod notebook.
