Nibmeisters (or "nib meisters" or "nib grinders") are specialists at adapting a pen's nib from one shape to another. For instance, they can narrow a nib's width from a fine to an extra-fine. Alternatively, they can do a custom grind like a stub grind, italic grind, architect grind, etc.

Nibmeisters are also often skilled at repairing damaged nibs, like a nib that has been bent as a result of dropping it. It's incredible to see how well the best nibmeisters can repair damaged nibs.
