The Rotring 800 is a premium model of the Rotring line derived from the original Rotring 600G line. The Rotring 800 line was created after Rotring production moved from Japan to Germany.
Mechanical Pencil Version
Currently available versions of the Rotring 800 include

In the case of the 0,5 mm and 0,7 mm versions, the full mechanical pencil mechanism is extended and retracted using the knurling directly below the red ring.
