Jinhao is the main brand of Shanghai Qiangu Stationery Co Ltd (Chinese: 上海千古文具有限公司), a Chinese manufacturing company specializing in writing instruments. In the West they are known for their affordable fountain pens. The company was established in 1988 in Jiangxi Province, but relocated to Shanghai in 2003. The company has two manufacturing factories and employs about 300 workers.

The 155 is a slim metal bodied screw cap fountain pen with hinged clip. It is a cartridge converter. The pen writes between fine and medium. The 155 is available either in gold or silver finish with fine engraved mesh or in black lacquer with smooth body.[1]

The 159 is a large heavy fountain pen with a design heavily influenced by the iconic Montblanc Meisterstück 149. It is a cartridge converter pen with a metal body with plastic overlay, a screw cap, and typically comes with a medium #6 steel nib.

163 and 165

The 163 and 165 models are slim fountain pens available in a metal or resin finish body. The 163 version features a silver-coloured trim and clip while the 165 model features a gold-coloured trim and clip.

The x189 is a fountain pen that commemorates the great wall of china, it comes in three trims, two of which are bronze and silver both with what appears to be a recreation of the great wall on the pens barrel along with a chinese idiom (一言九鼎 1 word worth 9 sacred pots) which means „Words of enormous weight“. the third is a black option that lacks the wall.

The pen has silver trim and some parts are knurled, it often comes in a Fine nib and can take a cartridge or converter.

The x250 is a heavy, metal bodied fountain pen. It features a #5 size stainless steel nib, plastic feed, and a snap on cap, which posts tightly through friction and accepts standard international cartridges. Weight: 35 grams. The Jinhao 991 is a plastic/resin demonstrator fountain pen that is a near copy of a Uniball Vision rollerball pen. The pens are available in a variety of translucent colors, ship with twist piston converters installed, and fit standard international cartridges. Caps fit tightly and post well, but both cap and barrel tend to crack with time and use. The F nib is a standard winged nib, while the EF version comes with a hooded nib, but as the nibs and feeds are shared with other Jinhao pens such as the 992, some dealers will assemble 991s with EF winged nibs.

992

The 992 is a full-sized fountain pen made from injection-molded plastic with a design heavily influenced by the Sailor 1911. It uses a standard international cartridge/converter filling system and comes with a fine steel nib.

993 'Shark'

The 993 is a fountain pen with a cap shaped in the form of a shark head, aimed at children or as a novelty pen. [4]

8802 'Shell'

The 8802 is a fountain pen featuring a resin body with inlaid shell in a checkerboard pattern.
