Germany has a long tradition of producing fine fountain pens. Currently, the most notable manufactures are Montblanc, Pelikan, Diplomat, Lamy and Kaweco. In addition to pen companies Germany is also home to multiple nib manufacturers such as Peter Bock AG, JoWo Berliner Schreibfeder GmbH, and Schmidt.
