The Egale Turquoise Twenty was first released in 1960s. It's not only the first fine line mechanical pencil in United States, but also had a great influence on many American pens later. The quality of many 0.5mm lead cores produced in the early United States was not good possible and could not withstand the stress of the general lead structure.
