The design that would become the Classic Lacquer Tornado did not appear in the 1999 catalog. In 2002 there were 9 colors. When the 2000 and 2001 catalogs come on-line, this information can be updated.
In 2004 they were listed as Classic Rollerball along with 3 colors later called softtouch lacquer.
In 2005 10 colors were listed as Classic Lacquers. This was the first official use of the term Classic Lacquer.
