Dark Lilac is going to be the color that all future Lamy releases will be measured against. Petrol will not beat that in my book. But it will sell out completely. So, in that case, it is a complete unmitigated success. It also has a new ink, which makes me even madder about the stupid Pacific Blue. If you have the time to whip up a Petrol ink, change the turquoise into something else. Make it lighter. You know, do something different to the ink because clearly you have the time to do it. So, I don't know why. Anyway, back to Petrol. All about it. I'm all in. Definitely getting this. This is why I wait for the Safaris and don't go for the AL Stars because I like that style better. I like that matte finish, the plastic barrel, everything about it. The ink, it's probably going to be close to a lot of inks many of us have if you have an ink problem. It's like a dark teal, but it looks like it's going to be awesome. I will definitely get the pen and the ink for the Petrol. And, yeah, big fan. You like this one, huh?
