'''Brad Dowdy:''' There's always something. Like I go into this, right? I purposefully go in without the list so I can... I'm open to stumbling into things. And at a show this size, people are going to break out things they don't normally do. So my good friend, Jimmy Doluff of the Atlanta Pen Show, he had a pen on his table that caught my eye. I'm afraid it's going to be far out of my budget and price range, but I'm going to ask him anyway. He wasn't available when I was handling it to get the price. But it's a Sailor King of Pens, except it's red instead of black Arushi. And it has a silver clip, and that's just kind of me. Yeah, it's nice. I've been wanting that large size pen. You know, I like the large Sailors. You know, the black is kind of... I don't want to say it's common, because it's not. But the red's different. And I haven't seen it before. I don't know what nibs on it, because it's still in its original packaging. And we weren't going to break that packaging open without Jimmy's permission. It could have some nib that I don't want on it. It could be at a price I don't want. But I'm not done with that pen until I get all those things, because it's now stuck in my head. So it's pretty great. I did see over at Franklin Kristoff had new Jonathan Brooks material pens in a matte acrylic that were really nice.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Those are very tempting. The colors look really cool. The feel looks really cool. It's in their Model 31, the new model, the larger size barrel. It's a unique look and feel. And, you know, with Jonathan... I haven't seen these, yeah. Yeah, I need to take you over there and look at those, because they're really, really cool. And they're the same price as their normal line of pens. And they did a really great job on these. The colors look fantastic. They're darker, muted colors, but they still have a lot of swirls in the material. And they came out great. So those are the kind of things on my radar. I'm thinking about an Edison Menlo draw filler, because you know I love the Menlo. I've got three of them on the table right now. Just like in our display cases, I have a bunch of my Menlos out there. And getting, trying the new draw filler interests me. I haven't committed to that. Good friend Joe Crace of the Gentleman Stationer got a really, really beautiful one. And that's kind of the one I want now, the material he has. And there wasn't another one. So I feel like I'm making a second... Like I would be buying my second choice, and it's kind of too expensive to buy your second choice. Yeah. Even though there's some really cool ones over there, there's a really dark green and lime green one. What does his look like? It's the Visconti London Fog material. So it's clear with the blue, various shades of blue swirls through it. Okay. Beautiful, stunning. And he showed me that one. I was like, it's hard for me to pick a different one than that one. And Brian's going to make some more of them later. So I may just keep my eyes peeled for that down the line. But there was another one that I liked over there that was dark green and lime green. That looked really nice. But it wasn't a demonstrator. Solid colors. But it was really sharp. So I might go back and stare at those a little bit longer. Because I really love the shape of the Menlo.

'''Myke Hurley:''' So for me, this is something that's on my list. I don't think I'm going to find anything that satisfies me. I'm just on the lookout for a limited edition Pro Gear, as I mentioned. Yeah. I haven't seen anything. Right. I mean, there are some, but there's not what I'm looking for.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' You're going to need some legit Japanese vendors to come over here. Yeah. And they didn't have time this year to make this trip.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Or I need to convince someone to sell me one. Which is also a possible thing, right? People look to sell their pens. And this is something that I've never done before, but I'm open to trying it. Like, I'm going to talk to people. And if people are willing to sell me a limited edition sailor that I like, like as a private sale, then I might do that. Right. Right. Because honestly, for me to get some of the ones that I maybe got my eye on, that might be the only way that I'm going to be able to do it. True. And that happens. Yeah. Which is totally fine. Which is totally fine, right? Like, this is... I've bear witness to trades last night at the bar, right? Right. It is a thing that occurs. And I think that's cool. That's like another cool thing. It's just not something that I've done before. I mean, I do have a Pilot M90 sitting right there that I'm buying from you. Yeah. But like, you know, just to like be in the bar and be like, yeah, I'll buy that from you. Right. Right. Like, it's cool, but I've just never done it. It's a feature of the show. Yeah. It's a great thing. And it's a way to get your hand on a pen that you wouldn't be able to get otherwise. Right. And I think just because of some of the ones that I've got my eye on, some of the ones that I'm interested in, these aren't really ones that people are buying unless they want them. So that's the way you get it. Right. Right. So that, you know, it's just someone's like, yeah, I don't use this so much. Sure. You know, I have a bunch now. I've got my eye on an Akaya. Like, I want to save up again. Like, you know, that's the kind of way that you get this stuff. Right. I really want one of those Caran D'Ache fountain pens.

'''Myke Hurley:''' I'm struggling to find the refill size that I want. I also wanted to get one for Adina because I thought that she would really like it. And she does. But I can't find a medium nib anywhere. They're all fines and extra fines. So, you know, I'm just going to have to, I might just have to let that one go for now. For now. Yeah. But they'll be available. It's something. I was talking to Vaness. What do they run? They're in the 50-ish range? 59, 57, 59, something like that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But they're really. It's a cool pen. It's beautiful. And there's amazing, vibrant colors. Yeah. Like these pinks and yellows and greens. Crandash does that very well. And so like, and they put the brand underneath the clip, which is such a classy, tasteful design choice. So yeah, I would like one. I'd actually like to get one for Adina as well. But both of us wouldn't want fine, are extra fines. And no rush either. Like that is going to be available. It's a standard. Yeah. So there's one other pen which I might be picking up this week.

Tobaldy Imperio Soluloid rods. Yes. Beautiful blue, silver, like unbelievable.
