So he does it into layers and then stacks all those layers into what you would normally think of as an acrylic blank like a length rectangle and then puts it on the lathe and does it. It's really cool because he did it in really bright colors so you can see all the action happening. It's fun to watch. It's not exactly making a pen out of paper, though.
