== Pilot Pen == '''Unknown Speaker:''' There is like, it is an S tier pen. If only no other pen was in that tier. Like I just, I, I cannot believe that pilot do not make a product like this today. Cause it is just as good as a pen. It is like the essence of a fountain pen. It is pure. It's the nib is the grip. It is as simple as that. And there is no change. I mean, it's what I like about the M90 over the Murex is the M90 is just plain. That's it. Like, and that's what I love about it. It is just the most simple. Right. And it's also tiny, which I do actually quite like about this pen. And I do post it. It's like the only pen. Yeah. I will post because it's so light that it doesn't make a difference. And it makes it really nice to hold. Like the M90 to me is like, it is just like the most special pen that you could want in your life. Yeah. I think that totally fair. Yeah. It's such a unique, fun pen. Um, and to your point, it's between the Murex and the M90, probably the M90 or, or the Mew, what it, what it originally came from. That should be the one that they should have an active product on over the Murex. Right. That should be like, they should remake that again. Yeah. Right. Over, over the, the M90 over the Murex for like a product that pilots should like reintroduce for sure. For sure. Um, all right. Next one. Uh, Namiki Yukari Milky Way. We've gone from like the least expensive pen to my most expensive pen. This is my Arushi lacquered, rotten, sparkly. This is my, uh, version of what your, your platinum 3776 is. You know, the, the, the show pen, the star, the, the beautiful artwork, just the, the stunning writing. Uh, it just has a stock fine nib, which I prefer. Uh, like I'm just keeping it that way. And it's just really, really an amazing, this is one of those, there's a couple of pens on here that I spent like a year or two deciding on. Right. Trying to, because it's a huge expense. Right. Um, and then I'm, I'm so happy that I did just like pony up and have my one, like, I don't need another one. Like, this is not, I don't know. All of a sudden need like the full collection of these. Like I have my one and I'm so happy with it. I'll never need another one again. And, you know, a pen of this like price point, but it's just such a joy to write with because it has a, um, it's a small pen. It's a number 10 size nib for pilot, which is on the smaller side, but it has like a brass undersleeve. So it has a, the proper amount of weight to it. So it's just a wonderful writing pen. I think it's kind of like, like if I could just pick one pen to write with all day long, it would probably be this one over like the Murex. It is such a stunner. Yeah. Yeah. It's, it's a good looking pen. It's, it's my kind of pen. It's got like rotten planets and like gold dust, like galaxy. I don't know. It's good. It's good. So I'm on the, uh, I'm looking this up and I'm on Iguana cell. Yeah. Looking at this product and I've got a picture of the box. It looks like it comes with a CD. Uh, mine didn't. Let me look at this picture. I saw your thing. This is a CD case. So they give you some like accompanying music. Oh, that's hilarious. Yeah. No, I, I got that box and I have the ink. It comes with like the classic Namiki ink pot, right? The really distinct looking ink pot. I don't recall ever seeing a CD. In case you need to update the driver for your fountain pen. I guess. I need to go, uh, like go into the box and see if it's like under like the padding. Cause this, this is like one of those products that comes in like a shoe box, you know, it's like a serious, serious box, um, that I'll never use again. So it's just stashed in the closet. Um, yeah, we need to, we need to find, we need to know if you've been missing out on like an auditory experience. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. All right. I'll do my, that's my homework is to find the Namiki CD. My number three is the sailor 1911 King of Pan Royal Tangerine. Yeah. Let's go. Goat. Yeah. It is a goat. It is a goat. Do you have just a stock nib on that one? Like just medium or broad? Uh, I don't remember whether it's medium or broad. Um, it's probably broad because why not for a pen like that? Yeah. Um, I love the King of Pen idea. I find it to be incredible and ridiculous. And this one is like a big, beautiful orange baton. Like this pen is huge and is loud. The Royal Tangerine color is one of the great acrylic colors. Like, yes, it is. I have the little one too. So I have this, the, the standard and the King of Pen and I just, I adore it. I bought this at one of the Atlanta pen shows and, uh, like I, I beeline for it. This time they had a blue and an orange at out at the same time. Do you remember that? Yes. And I, I knew I wanted this orange and, uh, went for it and been super happy with it. And I, I use this pen a lot, uh, cause it's just, it's just feels such a, like a pure experience. Yeah. That's a great one. That's a classic one. Um, and you're, you're not wrong about the color. One of the best just for like a basic solid color pen. It's just so good. It's really good. Say I honestly, sailor does that as does that better than anyone. You're solid acrylics. Just what do you think is, is probably like a very simple color. Like, I don't know something about the way they execute it. It, they, they look good. '''Unknown Speaker:''' Speaking of King of Pens, Myke, we're going with my fourth choice. Sailor King of Pens, Sky. So this was my first King of Pens. This was an experience pen. Uh, you know, like it was a whole, you know, thinking about this for a long time to, to spend this amount of money at the time. Um, which is outrageous at the time. I think it was six, six, five, 80 or six 60. There was, there was a time where they were, they were more reasonable than they are now. So yeah. Um, just a fantastic, this is my favorite King of Pens shape. This is the Pro Gear shape. So Myke's is the 1911 shape with the rounded torpedo style. Mine is the flat ends of the Pro Gear style. And, you know, I remember writing this review that you're going to have linked in the show notes saying like, there's no way I could recommend anyone ever buy this pen. Right. But when you use it, it's either going to just be like fascinating to use for you or just going to like, yeah, I don't get it. And like, that's totally fair. This is not a pen for everybody. Um, which is, makes it great to be on this list because it's a pen for me and it's just a fun color. It's a fun story about getting this one. And I've had several other King of Pens over the years. This is the one I always go back to. It's my favorite.
