== Survey Analysis Summary == '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. It's spectacular. Y'all go watch the video. They do a great job of breaking everything down. Better than us, in fact. So it's good to have their perspective as the builders of the survey as well. You know, like what are they working on? Why did they choose these questions? And, you know, what are some of the ideas? We're just looking at the results. '''Myke Hurley:''' Some of the answers we find perplexing, but they find them perplexing in a different way because they ask the questions in a certain way, right? Or create the questions in a certain way. And so they probably had and they did have different expectations going into it with the questions that they ask. And the answers can be surprising. Honestly, if I was going to make a suggestion, I would really love a ranked favorite pens. Because I do not think that we are getting the right answer from that list. We're getting an answer. I don't think it's the answer we're expecting to get. So like what we're learning is lots of people like a set of brands. But I would like to know a ranked, like a ranking. I would like to know what are people's ranking of their favorite brand brands. Yeah. Yeah, I think that would be interesting. Not just tell me all the brands you like, right? Which is what we're getting at the moment. '''Brad Dowdy:''' But I think like both of those questions... Both valid. ...comparatively would be really valuable to see, you know, what the differences are. '''Myke Hurley:''' But yeah, I'm not saying that the answer to that question... The answer to that question is now fascinating for a bunch of reasons that I wouldn't have expected from what that question was. But I personally would also just like to know how do people rank their favorite pen brands? Yeah. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Like I don't even know how I would answer that today. If you gave me... If you said my choices are those 12 choices on that slide, come back in an hour. I mean, and it might be why they don't do it, right? '''Myke Hurley:''' Because that is a much harder question than just tell me all the brands you like. '''Brad Dowdy:''' And as someone who uses all these things and has opinions about all these things, I still, I think I would have a difficult time saying this is number one. '''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. Yeah. No, I agree. It is hard. But I think it should be done. I would love to see it. Like I said earlier, I could do top two and then I got stuck. Right? But I just, it's just, I would be really, you know, like you could even just say like, what is your favorite? Like just one. Yeah. Right? Everyone has their favorite, surely. Right? And that would do most of the job. You don't need to rank 10 brands. You would get what I'm looking for. Right? So I think that might be cool actually. So continue doing, Myke and Kat, if you are willing to take any feedback, you don't have to listen to me at all. Continue asking that question the way that you have, right? So we can get that information. But then another question, which is just, what is your favorite pen brand? '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. One singular follow-up. '''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. '''Brad Dowdy:''' To pin people down to one. Yeah. And see how that breaks down. Because then I would just love to overlay those two. Exactly. Next to each other. That's what I want is the overlay. Yeah. '''Myke Hurley:''' How does that then move around? Yeah. Super cool. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yep. Love it. Love this. All right. Thank you so much, Michael and Kat, for doing this. I really, really appreciate it. Y'all are superstars. This is so much fun. Really useful. And I really appreciate it. And thanks to everyone who answered. And thanks to the participants who spent the time to do this and helped us have a little bit of fun and gain a little bit of insight. So thank you all. '''Myke Hurley:''' All right, gang. So you can go to the show notes and you can find a link to the PDF so you can take a look through that. Although I hope you kind of would have by now if you wanted to do that. Because otherwise you're listening to us to describe it. But then you can also go and watch a much more in-depth and detailed kind of run through of this data from the YouTube video from Michael and Kat. So there's links to the show notes for that. You can go to relay.fm slash penaddict slash 493 if you want to get your hands on that information. Thank you so much to Uni for their support of this week's episode. If you want to find Brad online, you can go to penaddict.com, spokedesign.com. Brad streams multiple times a week at twitch.tv slash penaddict. He is Dowdyism on Twitter and penaddict on Instagram. I am iMike, I-M-Y-K-E. Thanks so much for listening. If you celebrate, Merry Christmas. Happy holidays. We'll be back next week in turn and say goodbye, Brad. Goodbye, Brad.
