So adding this amount is not going to like be, it's going to significantly increase our overall stock, but not make it to a point where it's become unmanageable because we have another seven ink bottles, you know? So, yeah, I just figured why not go for it, see what ones I like. And it's not just me making the decisions, you know, like Adina wants some too. So it's like, well, let me just get quote unquote all of them, which is what I thought I was getting and see what ones are the best for us.

I am very interested to see what you think about these things because there's no way that I would have thought you would, I wouldn't think you would dislike them, but it'd usually be like, eh, not for me kind of thing because they're very different in how they go look on the page, right? It's a, it's a very saturated type of ink. You are going to have to, I will, I will set a reminder like every like third episode or so I'll say, Hey, did you clean out this pen? Cause you're going to have to manage these a little bit. They're not going to mess up your pens, but they will not write as well if they're not used for like two or three weeks at a time.

So like if you leave them in like a translucent barrel pen, like you can see almost like a little film, like when you clean it out, like if you put purple in clear, right, you'll see like a little purple ring and you just have to get in there. It comes right off, but you have to clean it a little bit more. And I know that's not your thing. And I'm saying that in the, in the nicest way possible with these inks, you need to pay attention a little bit more with them.

And I think they're going to work really well, but it's, I think, are you going to, are you going to like them? I think I have high hopes that you're going to like them and not be disappointed.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' All right. So next up the Twisby Eco Transparent. So this on Instagram looks very appley. This ad to me, it's like a very iPod nano. Uh, it's five new Twisby Ecos with clear. Okay. It's five Twisby Ecos. It's possibly some of them new, uh, with clear barrels and they like the demonstrator barrels and they have clear caps and clear like piston. What is that called? The twisting part? The piston?

I think this is just a fancy shot because all of these already exist. They're all already awesome. I was curious why you put this in the show notes. Huh? Um, because I had to take a second, I had to take a second look. I was like, why is the thing in the thing? And they're interesting in the fact that this is the core lineup of what Twisby is done with the eco, right? So these are the five core colors, but they have so many special edition colors. Like there's other pink ones and corally ones and all kinds of different things out there. They're solid color ones, which would you believe? I'm glad you put this in here because I wanted to talk about as Mr. Translucency and transparency over here. I like the Twisby ecos with the solid caps better.

So like it's, you know, the thing that you care about the most, the thing I care about the most, at least when it comes to, um, a pen with any kind of translucency is the body of the pen being translucent. '''Myke Hurley:''' So these are one of my favorite just pens period. Even though these are not new, they might be new to somebody, right? Someone's just listening to this show for the first time. And this is the pen that you might want to consider if you're going to make your first foray into fountain pens. Now that I see this picture and we're talking about it, I want gunmetal hardware on these pens instead of the chrome that they use. That would be dope.

And it gives me an opportunity to say that shockingly enough, I prefer the solid colors in the eco over the transparent ones, which is not something I would normally say. Shocking revelations on today's episode. So you might not be the only one bringing something old to the show today, Myke. I'm bringing up a paper sizes link that someone sent to me saying, did you know that there were at one time a British imperial cut paper size? We talk about, you know, how I prefer paper sizes. Like I would prefer like consistent sizes, like in the A series, you know, A zero through whatever, nine, however tiny they can make it. So I prefer standards in my paper sizes. And someone sent this thing said, Hey, did you know there were British imperial paper sizes? And I said, no, I didn't. So I pulled up this link, Myke. Did you know that the three main sizes of the British cut, right? Cut writing paper were named Albert Duchess and Duke.

'''Myke Hurley:''' This is new to you because I'm guessing this does not exist, right? This is, this is not something like I'm reading the, the, the intro. It says before metric, metrication, that's a hard word for the metric system in the UK. The UK used British imperial paper sizes, most of which were quickly superseded by the ISO 216 A series paper sizes, which is what I'm referring to when I talk about the A series paper sizes. Like that's a standard, that's an international standard paper size. But the British had Albert, which was a four inch by six inch paper size Duchess, which was four and a half by six and Duke, which was five and a half by seven. I am proposing we bring these sizes back, Myke. I am in to Albert Duchess and Duke. What do you say?

So Duke is like the A5 size, five by five by seven. That's the biggest of the three. And Duchess and Albert are smaller.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Right. But I'm saying five by five by seven is A5-ish sizes, right?

'''Brad Dowdy:''' So what would be a 4.0 by 6.0? Like a field notes? Yeah, that's like, that's bigger.

Then you get into a full scap quarto, full scap folio, small post octavo. Like, and there are all these, all the bigger sizes, all up to eight by 10, which is large post quarto. Those aren't as fun as Albert, Duchess, and Duke. What were they thinking? Did they run out of, they couldn't, they shouldn't have run out of names that fast, right?
