== Mastodon usage via micro.blog. == '''Myke Hurley:''' Mastodon. You're using Mastodon via micro.blog. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Both. So I will I have my micro.blog linked to my Mastodon. So that's why I'm kind of micro.blog is my home. Right. Because I can just post there to cross post over to Mastodon. But then I will post separately on Mastodon sometimes just to like reply to people. Mastodon has a really good way of being able to follow hashtags. And you can just follow like a like a fountain pen hashtag on Mastodon. And you can follow people who use this hashtag without necessarily following them. And it's been like very useful to go look on Mastodon and see all these feeds in my posts like about fountain pens. So what I get from Twitter was like I follow a lot of Japanese sites and get a lot of new stuff. Right. Like I'm not getting sailor.co.jp over on Mastodon. Right. So like I'm still use. And if I have a use for Twitter in that aspect. But I just want to give them as as little attention as possible. You know I've definitely cut back on that. '''Brad Dowdy:''' So yeah those are my main things. I'm obviously still you know streaming on Twitch and have my Instagram account which you know I post you know fun stuff on and things like that. So yeah all that stuff's good. But that's this is the long way of saying I have a link called a pen addict dot omg dot lol that has all of these things on it and you should go check them out. But you'll finally find me mostly on micro dot blog and Mastodon. But I'm still hanging out on Twitter making sure I don't miss any messages things like that. '''Myke Hurley:''' So yeah omg dot lol is a thing you told me about and it's you can use it to do a kind of link tree kind of thing which is exactly that that's fine. But there was another thing that it does that I was really in like I thought was really cool. Are you still using the status part of it. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Absolutely. '''Myke Hurley:''' So how do you get to that again. See that's the only thing is they their URLs are a bit complicated but the tools you can actually set up the URLs the way do you want them to as well you can create redirects. It's the service it's like twenty dollars like a bunch of interesting things like you can create these web pages or you can. Yeah it's just I would recommend checking it out just because it's like a fun little weird thing and like yeah 20 bucks or whatever I was like I'll give it a go. I can I've only like poked around of it. I want to do a little bit more but I'm just I'm not sure what I would use it for. Like I like the status thing that you set up but like it being real to myself I don't know if I would keep it up to date like so right. It's interesting though.
