== Fountain Pen Spending == '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. it's like, I almost don't want to put this on here because it's kind of pointless. Because if you're spending this much money, '''Brad Dowdy:''' you know, it's, you kind of know what you're looking for, and there's so many different fits for your style. There's so many different places you can shop for different pricing. you know, there's just so much variance in this. I almost felt like I kind of had to put it, but I rarely use this range for anything. Like, I don't get asked much about this category, to be honest. And, you know, people, I would get asked, like, like, $300 seems, $300 seems to be kind of like a hard barrier for 95% of the people that are looking for recommendations. That's where something like the 823 and the Pro Gear and the 912 come in. It's like, there's a line after that where almost no one's asking me, hey, can you recommend a $500 fountain pen to me? Because at that point, they don't need my recommendation. They figured out what they want. '''Brad Dowdy:''' So, they're going to buy things that fit their style and needs, right? People maybe that want to spend $300 and get something nice maybe still need help trying to figure those things out. Once you get past that, it's like, all bets are off. It's like, you know what you want past that. That's why I don't get asked a lot about this category because, you know, it should really, I should probably just make it a $200 to $300 category to be honest because after that, I feel like you know what you want. '''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. '''Brad Dowdy:''' If you're spending that much money, you've put in the time, you've put in the research, you know, you've asked around, you know, you've gotten feedback from a lot of people and you kind of know what you want. Anything after, like that $300 price point, it's super personal. Like, my recommendation is going to hold a lot less weight than it does for something on a lower price tier, I believe.
