== Lamy ION == '''Brad Dowdy:''' So, I'm with you. I think that was our consternation when we first saw the marketing on it. It was like, okay, why? Like you said, it's like, okay, I mean, yeah, it's like a. '''Myke Hurley:''' Vista was what I was thinking of. Okay, the Vista. Right, it's just a, it just looks like, it's just a clear Safari, right? But they market it separately. Yeah. And they have the necks. I'm looking at their page now. Oh, yeah. Yes, you're right. They have a bunch of the round barrel ones, which I never see anywhere except the logo. So, the logo, then they have the studio. There's something called the Accent, which I've never seen before. It's got a bit of wood on it or something. Yep. But, yeah, it's just surprising to me to see the ION. '''Myke Hurley:''' On the lobby's website right now, it's just quite funny that, like, the ION sits at the very top, right? And it just has the word innovation underneath it. '''Myke Hurley:''' That's all it says. It just says, and there's no other words under any other pens except special edition where something special edition. But this one is called an innovation pen. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah, that's where the marketing department, this is like who drives the product, right? Yeah. The design department or the marketing department. So, that came out of the marketing meeting, I'm sure. Yeah, it's the innovation pen. It's like, I don't look at this pen and go, wow. How innovative. They did something really innovative here, right? It's a metal brushed barrel with a little bit of a curvier nib than their straight triangular style nib. I mean, there's nothing innovative about this pen except for the fact that it's a really good pen. '''Myke Hurley:''' What I like is, like, I'm on the Lamy ION product page and they don't mention innovation, like, on the actual product page. Like, there is no, they don't, they just talk about, like, kind of quality and stuff like that, which I get. So, I don't know why they felt the need to write innovation, which is, it's just kind of funny to me. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. '''Myke Hurley:''' Innovation. '''Brad Dowdy:''' So, now that these are out in the wild a little bit more, I'm interested to see what other people think. So, let me know your feedback on the Lamy ION. I have a guest post coming up on the ION, which is why I wrote my review for the Pen Addict members. And you're going to be hearing a lot about this pen, I think, in the next few months. And hopefully, Lamy does something with the ION that it does with a lot of their other pens, Myke, and that's add them into the special edition rotation. And we actually have 2018 Lamy special edition news. Did you see this, Myke? '''Myke Hurley:''' Only from the document, but yes.
