== Fountain Pens == '''Myke Hurley:''' Oh, my voice even cracked. It was, uh, yeah, it's like a $300 pen and it's a fountain pen. So it's retractable like pen that cannot be named, but it's by twisting, not clicking. Um, I really want to try out that mechanism. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Um, yeah, I, I, I held one at the pen show where I picked up the, uh, pen that cannot be named and it's an impressive pen. Um, I know you're, both of us are, are, are fans of Lamy and they make really good, really good quality pens. And, um, I don't know if that's on the wishlist for me. It's on the radar for me, but yeah, it's, it's kind of cost prohibitive right now. That's, that's one of those, uh, you know, have to think about it for a good long while and, and see, but it's, it's a beautiful pen. '''Myke Hurley:''' It looks great. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Actually, you know, since, since you've mentioned that, if any, if any listeners have a Dialogue 3, email me or email Myke or, you know, send us, send us a message. We'll, we'll get all our contact information. I, I'd like to hear about it and hear more about what you think about it. And heck, if you wanted to, you could even do a guest post, guest review, you know, on, on the pen addict blog about it. Um, it's just because it's one of those pens that, you know, it, it, it's awesome looking and it's, it's beautiful, but you know, you're, you're not just going to, you know, wake up in the morning and decide to drop $300 on a pen. Right. You know, you gotta, you gotta think about it and make sure it's going to fit into, to your, to your use. And, you know, you, you, you've got room to use it. You don't want to buy that pen and, and have it sit there and collect dust. Right. '''Myke Hurley:''' It's a real beauty. And, uh, I, I really would like to get my hands on one of them. Very, very, very nice looking pen. Yeah. Um, in regards, I've been trying to rack my brain in regards to like a, a Franken pen, as you call it. And I don't think I have, you know, I don't actually think I have one. Um, I would maybe like a, um, you know, I'll tell you something I would quite like. My favorite pen in the world. Um, I would love it. See, I think it kind of doesn't count if we're talking about it, but name, but, uh, I know, but nevermind. '''Brad Dowdy:''' It's not really working out well for us, is it? '''Myke Hurley:''' I would love it in the form factor of a Kaweco. Yeah. Shorter? Shorter. Mm-hmm. They do, they, I believe they do shorter ones and I haven't seen them in person. So they may be, um, they may be what I'm after, but that would be really cool. I think like a nice one. '''Brad Dowdy:''' That's a good idea. I like that idea a lot, actually. And I think even if they, even if they don't do it, that's something that I would think they could pull off pretty well. I don't know. '''Myke Hurley:''' They do have one called the Mini Elite Series. I don't know how small it is. It's 8.5 centimeters. So it's actually quite small, isn't it? '''Brad Dowdy:''' That seems pretty small. Yeah. Let me see if it's a Kaweco. Yeah. I'll have to look at that one. Do you have a link to that one? Put it in the show notes? Because I want to see that. I haven't looked at that. '''Myke Hurley:''' Yeah. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Okay. '''Myke Hurley:''' I will write the name out in the show notes. '''Brad Dowdy:''' We won't blank those out. Or you could just, you could just make them, you know, the white background or whatever background and people will have to, you know, highlight over to, to see the name. That, that wouldn't be very nice, would it?
