'''Myke Hurley:''' So my buddy Chase, who shared a room with me and Matt, Mr. Chase Reeves, I can't remember how we got onto it, but we were just talking about pens and stuff, and I was telling him the stories of the Retro 51 and how great it was. And when we were sitting in one of the talks one day, he was like, let me use this fancy pen of yours. So he used it, and he said, oh my God, I love this. So I gave him one of mine. Nice. I thought that was a nice, you know, he was very kind to us in the week and helped us have a great time, showed us around the city and stuff. So I wanted to pay him back by giving away a pen from my collection to him, and I thought that was a nice gesture. I've never done that for somebody before.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' So yeah, don't you love doing that, though, to be able to share that with someone else that, you know, it's kind of, you know, give them something that's nice like that, and it kind of surprises them. And, you know, here, just keep it, you know, it's yours.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' That's great. Yeah, I love giving away, you know, the products that I like and things like that. So to kind of make someone's day and, or, you know, give them something, you know, people, you know, that are picking up this show for the first time, which we're getting tons of new listeners. We get that all the time now on Twitter. To be able to share just the products that we love with people that, you know, we're just kind of getting into this to kind of give them that push to say, hey, there's really some better things out there. And there's some neat stuff going on in this little realm of ours. It's fun to see, you know, how happy they get and how much they enjoy things like that. So that's awesome. Good job by you, mate.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' All right. So while I guess this happened while you were at XOXO, did the new Field Notes actually launch while you were gone? No, I was home. You were home when it came out. It came out on when? Tuesday. Wednesday? Tuesday. Tuesday. So you were already back. So yeah. So the new Field Notes, the fall 2013 edition came out and it's called the Drink Local Edition and it's pretty amazing. I gotta say.

'''Myke Hurley:''' Oh boy, yeah. Yeah. They did a great job.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. When I first saw this, one of my biggest enjoyments about Field Notes, some of my favorite products in the past have always been the multicolored notebooks, like the one three-pack with three different colors or the six-pack in the past with the National Crop Edition where it was six different color notebooks. And this one, the Drink Local Edition is kind of sort of similar to the National Crop even though it doesn't come in a six-pack. It's called the Drink Local Edition. Even though it's billed as a six-pack for the beers. There are six different colored notebooks. There's a three-pack of Drink Local Lager editions and a three-pack of Drink Local Ales editions. And each of them has a different color cover. Let's see. Let's see. The ales have Stout, which is dark brown, black. Amber Ale, which is warm red. And India Pale Ale, which is rusty orange. And lager features the Pilsner, which is the gold one. Bach, which is the brown one. And the pale lager, which is the pale yellow. And again, they kind of nailed my two favorite things that I've always liked about Field Notes. One is the different colored three-packs, each book being a different color. And two is the different colored grid line. Instead of the standard brown, which actually would have matched on this one pretty well, they went ahead and changed it. What are they calling the color of the grid here? They had a name for it.
