== Artwork == '''Myke Hurley:''' I'm clicking it. Okay. '''Myke Hurley:''' Bdcwire.com loading. Still seeing the headline. This guy loves pens more than you love anything in the world. '''Myke Hurley:''' Oh. '''Myke Hurley:''' That's a weird picture. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I wanted to, I was wondering what you would say. So, yes, it's about me. But the, we'll go with fun part of it is the image that they created for this. That's terrifying. Bdcwire, which is a Boston.com property. '''Brad Dowdy:''' The author, Jamie Loftus, I've been talking to her on Twitter. She's super nice. She's really funny. I enjoyed talking with her. And she wanted to do just a little tidbit on the pen addict and the community thing. Again, this whole community thing we've got going today. Didn't really, didn't really plan on that. But it's working out that way. And, you know, she just kind of wanted to get a little behind the scenes and how it started. So, I just answered some basic questions. You know, if you've listened to this podcast or read my blog a long time, you've heard a lot of these answers. But she wanted to do this for her, for her day job. And, yeah, they do this artwork for a lot of the articles. And I was like, hey, look at that. It's terrifying. '''Myke Hurley:''' It's terrifying me looking at it. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. Yeah. And she's like, yeah, it's the Sino DX. I'm like, that's not what I see. That's not my takeaway from the picture. '''Myke Hurley:''' Why are your eyes so small? Why are your gums like that? I don't like it. I'm happy this looks like a really nice thing that's happened. '''Brad Dowdy:''' It is. And it's a really nice article. And she's super nice. And I don't think she has anything to do with the artwork. But the first time I saw that, I was like, whoa, what just happened here? '''Myke Hurley:''' Oh, yeah. I can see it. It's a thing for them. They do lots of this weird artwork. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yes. So, whoever is doing this has this style, if you will. '''Myke Hurley:''' It feels like it's being done by somebody in Microsoft Paint. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. So, skip the artwork and head to the article. But, like I said, it's just about, you know, my background and starting the blog and how I got into pins and things like that. Stuff will be discussed. '''Myke Hurley:''' I might get this printed on a t-shirt and arrive in Atlanta with it. '''Brad Dowdy:''' That would be sweet. '''Myke Hurley:''' Oh, then I have to look at it. I love you. You're a good-looking guy. This is not doing you justice. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I didn't expect it to go there, but I appreciate that, Michael. '''Myke Hurley:''' I'm scared. I'm scared by it. I am a little bit. I have to close the tab. '''Brad Dowdy:''' So, you're going to have nightmares now. '''Myke Hurley:''' Oh, I can't get it out of my mind. I would be, I mean, you know, again, I'm sure you were very, very happy that it did this. But I would be really upset, I think, to see that. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I'd be like, oh, why? Yeah. I didn't know any of that. And to be honest, and Jamie didn't say anything. I'm pretty sure she didn't know. You know how there's different groups, you know, like in the publishing. You know, someone's going to write the title. Someone's going to do the image. Someone's going to put together the article. So, I don't know if she had anything to do with it, but I don't care. It's so bad. It's good. Not really, but it's definitely something to talk about. But anyway, I appreciate Jamie. She was super great to work with. And the artwork was, yes, a huge surprise. '''Myke Hurley:''' Anything that gets you in front of more people makes me happy. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah, yeah. And it was a nice conversation we had. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I wanted your reaction on that. And that's about what I expected. '''Myke Hurley:''' I'm really pleased that I didn't see this until now, though. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I can't stop looking at it. '''Myke Hurley:''' I've had to close it because I would have just looked into that for hours,
