== Sun Star Scissors == '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yep. This is my grand prize award winner, Myke, the Sun Star β all right, I'm going to go with this. Stickle? Yeah. What are we β stickle? Stickle? '''Myke Hurley:''' Stickyle? '''Brad Dowdy:''' Stickyle. Stickyle. Stickyle. It's stick. Y-L-E. All right. '''Myke Hurley:''' Straight up, this thing is a shank, right? '''Brad Dowdy:''' Okay. Sure. Right? I mean, it's not that sharp on the end. It's less sharp than a traditional pair of scissors. The other β the metal cutter one is more of a shank in this list, which we're not going to cover, but there's a different one here. Y'all can go see on the list. '''Myke Hurley:''' It's not a shank. I mean, Brad, there's like β '''Brad Dowdy:''' This is more of a medical device than a shank. Yeah. '''Myke Hurley:''' Or a shiv, maybe, is the phrase I'm looking for. Those are the same things. You shank someone with a shiv, I think. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I mean, visually, when it's closed, it looks very stabby. '''Myke Hurley:''' Because also, to get the blades out to cut, and they're very rounded for obvious reasons, you push them out, right? Like β Yeah, yeah. Like, ah. That's how I imagine it. '''Brad Dowdy:''' I think you probably have to make those sound effects when you do it, which is why it should have won. So, what this is, and why I think this should be the winner, is because of the context of the stationary world that we're in right now. It's very, like, journaling-focused products. '''Myke Hurley:''' This is also just a very clever design. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yes. So, what it is, is you have your traditional sticker β excuse me, scissor blades, but the tips of the scissors are converted into a tweezer shape. So, they, like, are β like, the blades kind of end and then shift into a tweezer blade that allows you to do picking up of stickers and stamps and washi on the front end without cutting things with the sticker. So, it's like a two-in-one, and then it's retractable, essentially. '''Myke Hurley:''' I didn't even notice the little picky-up part, but I thought the smart part of it was the retractable. You know, like, the blades fully retract. And to me, that was clever, right? Like, seeing that, I was like, oh, that's a very nice design. And then, yeah. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah, other companies have done that. I'm sure. Other companies have done those blades. I like this. '''Myke Hurley:''' This is like, you know, obviously, this starts with how do you not make it so dangerous? You round the edges. Or what if there's no blade at the front? And then it's like, well, what if there's no blade at the front? And you end up getting to this point of like, yeah, it's very clever, nice little design, nice product, bunch of different colors. I genuinely think, I think we often do a good job of being able to try and translate visuals to audio, you know, like for the show. But I think in this scenario, not possible to do that. You have to go and take a look at it. I just got a little bit distracted that Sunstar, the company that owns this, that makes this product. It's owned by Bandai Namco? '''Brad Dowdy:''' I think I did know that. Yeah. Because they've done some. They've done some collaborations that I've seen in the past. Nothing ever too interesting, right? Right. Like, I feel like they're leaving a lot on the table. Bandai Namco is a video game company. '''Myke Hurley:''' They're responsible for Pac-Man, but they also have a vast array of products of their own, and they also publish games too. That is incredibly strange. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yep. Do you think they can lean into that a little bit more? '''Myke Hurley:''' Oh, they've got some bluey stationery, not related to Bandai Namco in any way, but I just went to their product, and they make bluey stickers and stuff for Japan. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. Sunstar is pretty popular. I've used and reviewed some of their pen cases before. I will 100% get this pair of scissors. Yeah. It's just a neat little thing. Yeah. '''Myke Hurley:''' I'm looking through their products page here, and there's a lot of collaborations with different brands, but I'm not seeing any Bandai Namco products. Yeah. That's wild. '''Brad Dowdy:''' It's caught me. I swear in the past, I've been caught by like one or two things, but in a very simplistic way. Yeah. Not like heavily character-based. '''Myke Hurley:''' I'm sure they do the occasional Pac-Man thing, but I just feel like they should have a whole line of Bandai Namco. Totally. Like, you know. Mm-hmm. That's incredibly strange to me. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Yeah. '''Myke Hurley:''' Cool website, though. Yeah. Yeah. '''Brad Dowdy:''' Very cool. All right. Next one that I wanted to mention is something we talked about. I don't know if you'll remember this. It was just kind of like an in-passing thing. I've talked about it somewhere, whether it was here or on stream or wherever. It's the Secura Ball Sign, which is their gel ink pen. And this is called the ID Single. And what this is, and actually, I think this came up on another awards thing, Myke. It's a set of six pens with a gradient range of just black inks. Yes, we've spoken about this. Yeah. This is not original at all. '''Myke Hurley:''' Well, I'm looking at their page. They're like a blue, green, purple, but they're still black?
