'''Myke Hurley:''' It's very valid. Fountain pens make a lot of noise and you have to get used to that, right?

'''Brad Dowdy:''' I was not expecting that. Yeah. Like when you write with a platinum fountain pen nib, it sounds like a pencil. There is a scratch scratch, but it's dead smooth and super clean. Sometimes it's squeaky. It makes a noise.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' Pilots, pilot nibs are squeaky to me. Like pilots have a squeak.

'''Myke Hurley:''' I don't even get started on titanium nibs. Yeah. I hate that actually.

'''Brad Dowdy:''' It took me a while. I was like, kind of like Laboz is saying, it's like, is this supposed to be happening? Why is this one different from the other one? Are all of these broken? And that's just kind of like a feature of the nib. Like you can tell now like that I'm more experienced with fountain pens and have used a lot. Like I could do a blind test and tell the difference by the sound that they make and the feel on the page. Right. There, a lot of them are different. Like Lamy, that one, that one sticks on the page a little bit. It's, you know, it's a little bit sticky, kind of like a platinum. So yeah, I just thought this was a good question because it's a real thing. Like fountain pen nibs do make sounds when you write with them and it's just something like hopefully you'll get used to and enjoy it. Like it becomes a pleasant feedback because you do get the feedback while the experience is still exceptional.
