The Fenghwa 27 is a very classic model of Fenghwa. In 1962, in response to the Sino-Indian border self-defense counter-attack in the field night writing needs, when the mainstream writing tools fountain pen and pencil for various reasons can not meet the needs, for this Fenghwa ballpoint pen factory developed a set of lighting ballpoint pen called Fenghua 27 type, and named after its development time. The pen is equipped with electric beads for recording at night or in darkroom operations. The pen was supervised by the PLA Artillery Command and was mostly distributed to officers above the company level of the various units at that time.

The circuit luminous structure is roughly this: the pen head and grip are made of transparent PMMA. The pen lever places the battery, small electric beads, forming a circuit. There are different switching structures depending on the model and pen function. Only two of these series have been found on the market at the moment: 27-1 and 27-4. Of these, 27-1 is a ballpoint pen and 27-4 is a mechanical pencil.

27-1 is the ballpoint pen inside this series. There are 3 versions has been found: '27 FENGHWA', 'ZHONGHUA 27' made by aluminium, 'ZHONGHUA 27' made by stainless steel.

The Pentel PN3015 was first released in 1982. It probably is the first Auto-Advance mechanism pencil of Pentel.

The Pentel PN3015 have 3 functions: push-type mechanism, Auto-Advance mechanism and Press-guide pipe mechanism. Unlike the general Auto-Advance mechanism, the PN3015 have several special differences.

The biggest drawback is the guide pipe of this pencil. It does not fit tightly with rubber lead holder, since this is the first attempt by the factory. Subsequent launches of the THREE STAR 705 solved this problem by using a wire lead holder similar to tk-matic L.

The mechanism of this pencil is similar to [[Pentel PN105]], which has 4 chuck balls in its movements, making its structure more stable.

Great Wall 75-3 used Ratchet-based mechanism, The structure of 753 is special,which is similar to Uchida Holder D. You can adjust the depth of the tube inside the grip to adjust the distance between the chunk and the lead holder,then adjust the lenth of the lead during each knock. There is a sharpener in the knob, we can use it to sharpen the lead.

The THREE STAR 700 was first released in 1980. It's the first fine line mechanical pencil in China。
== History ==

In May 1980, Shanghai Pen Industries visited [[Parker]]'s plant in Wisconsin. During this time Parker proposed a number of possible cooperation projects with Shanghai Pen Industry Corporation, one of which was the manufacture of a fine line mechanical pencil core of the same size as the G2 ballpoint pen core(Schmidt Structure).

After the visit, The Shanghai Pen Industry Company handed over the task to its subsidiary, China NO.2 Pencil Factory, and successfully producted it at the end of 1980. Although the partnership with Parker was ultimately not reached, China NO.2 Pencil Factory did not abandon the project, but instead used it on the Hero 400 Ballpoint Pen produced at the Shanghai Ballpoint Pen Factory.To distinguish between the models of the ballpoint pen, its name is Hero 700.

Later, in 1981, The China NO.2 Pencil Factory began to produce its own barrels, at which time the model changed from the Hero 700 to the THREE STAR 700.

== Appearance ==

The shell of THREE STAR 700 is made of [[Material :: stainless steel]]. Because the shells of the early THREE STAR 700 and Hero 400 used the same the same size and process, the THREE STAR 700 looked very similar to the shape of the Hero 400 ballpoint pen and the shell processing process.

The Fenghwa 92 is a very classic model of Fenghwa. It was first released about 1959, which is a tribute product to the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China by Fenghwa Ballpoint Pen Factory.

The pen has a unique structure with two colors of refills. Its rotating mechanism has an 8-shaped copper guide, with springs and balls, can achieve 360 degrees rotation alternate refill.

The pen is very durable because the main parts are made of metal. So much so that production has been selling well for more than 40 years.

The Fenghwa Suripise was first released in September 1948. It's the first ballpoint pen in China, made by Fine Articles Factory(The predecessor of Fenghwa Ballpoint Pen Factory.). This pen except the ball is imported, all other parts are made in China.

This pen imitates Eversharp Kimberly on the appearance, shape for the pocket-free pen clip sleeve type, the middle of the metal ring plated yellow, plastic pen rod has black, purple, green three. Because the production capacity was relatively backward at that time, the number of listings was very small.

The factory rented a counter on the ground floor of Yong'an Company for sale. Because is the first ballpoint pen in China, the shape is better after the sales situation is good, the daily sales of about 100.

In the 1930s, China's light industry was so backward that it could not make its own pencils. In 1934, Wu Tongmei, a Chinese student in Japan, returned home to start construction of a pencil factory, the first pencil factory in China, the Chinese Standard Pencil Factory, which went into operation in August 1935. The first product was named 'Fei ji'.

Then, in 1937, the factory launched its new product, 'Ding', the first advanced drawing pencil. The pen is made entirely of Chinese ingredients: clay from Suzhou, China, birch from northeast China, graphite from Hunan, China. After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, the factory turned to Wuhan, Yichang and many places, and finally landed in Chongqing.

During the Anti-Japanese War, the leadership of the factory split, General Manager Zhang Weiss, engineer Guo Zichun suggested that the factory move back to Shanghai, and Wu Tongmei factory director did not agree, and then Zhang, Guo two left the factory.

After the victory, Wu was received by Mao Zedong during the Chongqing talks. In 1946, the factory moved back to Shanghai to resume work, and the factory was on the verge of bankruptcy because of high inflation in the KMT-ruled region at the time.

In 1949, the factory sent several technical backbone, carrying equipment to Harbin, China, to build a factory, this is Shanghai's first private enterprises to foreign public-private joint venture plant. In September, director Wu Tongmei attended the Chinese the First Congress of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

In May 1950, China Standard Pencil Factory realized a public-private partnership. In 1954, several pencil factories in Shanghai, including the China Standard Pencil Factory, merged into the China Pencil Company. In 1955, the whole of Shanghai pen industry merged into Shanghai Pen Industry Company. One of the pencil factory into NO.1 Factory, NO.2 Factory, Beijing THREE STAR Pencil Factory.

In 1966, the public-private partnership of the factory was completed and officially became a state-owned enterprise. In 1968, in order to save timber resources, the factory developed its first mechanical pencil named 'THREE STAR 101'. In 1978, the factory developed its first leadholder mechanical pencil named 'THREE STAR 105'. Both housings are plastic and use a 2.0mm lead core.

In 1979, as china-Japan relations heated up, the Ministry of Light Industry of the People's Republic of China led a delegation to Japan and brought back several 0.5mm fine line mechanical pencil. In 1980, China's first fine line mechanical pencil 'THREE STAR 700' was successfully developed. Over the next two years, 720,721,740,750,702,703 grades of mechanical pencils were made.

From the mid-1980s to the early 1990s, factories began to develop Auto-Advance mechanism pencil, introducing products such as the A701,705. So far, China NO.2 Pencil Factory reached its peak.
